Zimbabwe taps into Expo 2025 Osaka to boost tourism, trade

ZIMBABWE is leveraging its participation at Expo 2025 Osaka to drive growth in tourism, trade and investment during the six-month global event.

The event commenced on April 13 and will run until October 13.

With over 28 million visitors expected to attend the expo, Zimbabwe sees the international showcase as a prime opportunity to promote its cultural heritage, scenic destinations and investment potential on the world stage.

Tourism authorities have set targets, aiming for a 15 percent annual increase in tourist arrivals across ten key source markets.

Government is pursuing a 10 percent annual growth in trade and investment deals as part of its broader economic strategy.

The Expo also serves as a vital networking hub, enabling Zimbabwean businesses to engage with global investors and explore partnerships.

By participating at Expo 2025 Osaka, Zimbabwe is positioning itself as a competitive and attractive destination for both tourists and international investors.
