President Mnangagwa is today expected to attend and address the Johane Masowe Chishanu gathering at the Gwanzura Shrine in Harare.

The gathering, which commenced on Thursday, is expected to draw thousands of congregants and guests.

The President’s attendance highlights the Government’s continued engagement with religious organisations and recognition of their role in promoting social cohesion, peace and national development.

The gathering will also provide an opportunity for the church to reaffirm its commitment to working with Government in supporting communities and contributing to the country’s development agenda.
