President Mnangagwa to open 13th Zimbabwe International Research Symposium focused on sustainable industrialisation

HARARE, Zimbabwe— This morning, President Emmerson Mnangagwa will officially open the 13th Zimbabwe International Research Symposium at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC). The symposium, themed “Embracing Research and Innovation for Sustainable Industrialisation,” aims to showcase the outputs of Zimbabwe’s Education 5.0 initiative and foster collaboration among local and international researchers.

The event highlights the Government’s commitment to advancing research and innovation as key drivers of sustainable development in the country. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, present their findings, and explore innovative solutions to industrial challenges facing Zimbabwe.

As the country seeks to bolster its industrial capacity, the symposium serves as a critical platform for dialogue and knowledge-sharing, with the potential to influence policy and practice in various sectors.
