President Mnangagwa warns Agritex officers

PRESIDENT Mnangagwa has warned Agriculture Extension Officers who deliberately omit other families in the distribution of Pfumvudza inputs that they will be dismissed.

His remarks come after an outcry from communities across the country that some Agritex officers are in the habit of excluding some families from benefiting from inputs under the Pfumvudza concept.

Responding to the reports, President Mnangagwa, who today was commissioning the Fruit and Vegetable Processing Hub at Taburira

Vocational Training Centre in Mutoko condemned the issue and reminded the officers that the inputs do not belong to them.

“If there is an officer here who is doing that, please stop it henceforth. Ibva watochera chikomba nhasi.

“Noone should be left behind. These inputs are not for Agritex officers.”
