“We will be having our third graduation on 29 November where the Chancellor President Mugabe will cap 62 graduands. We are proud, as an institution, that we have grown from the initial 20 graduands.
“This is a positive outlook that shows that the university is fast establishing itself as the centre of higher learning for Matabeleland North province,” he said.
At least 40 of the graduands are from Humanities and Social Sciences while five will be drawn from the Agricultural Science.
Seventeen will graduate with Masters’ Degrees in Development Studies.
A total of 33 graduands are male while 29 are female.
Mr Dlamini said the ceremony would be held at the University Campus in Lupane.
He said the university would hold the ceremony at its premises to inspire schools and businesses around the area. “Invitation cards for the graduation ceremony, which was initially scheduled for 16 November, remain valid,” said Mr Dlamini.
