THEY can’t win, they can’t score and no wonder they could be RELEGATED this season.

Poor Dynamos, they have become such a sorry sight.

Among the games they were expected to win, in their first to avoid the chop, was this one.

After all, their opponents, just like them, have been very poor this season and are also battling relegation.

But the Glamour Boys turned on a typical poor show in what was a dull goalless draw.

It’s probably the worst game so far in the Castle Lager Premiership.

It did not deserve a goal because the two sides have not scored a goal in their last five matches.

And, as expected, it did not get one.

Dynamos have registered 16 points in 22 games and netted just six times.

And, they are now dropping points against clubs that are also in the relegation zone.

The Gem Boys have picked 22 points and they are just a point away from safety.

DeMbare’s next trip will be to Chicken Inn, who are just a point above the red zone.

Dynamos coach Saul Chaminuka was not available for this fixture as he is serving a two-game suspension.

He was punished for inciting his players to force the abandonment of their game against FC Platinum.

His assistant Philemon Mutyakureva was in charge yesterday and will be in charge again for their trip to Luveve.

He insisted they will avoid relegation.

“Mathematically we still have the chance and the good thing is our boys are also showing the zeal to get the job done,” said Mutyakureva.

“We have to get goals and we are still looking for strikers who can give us what we are lacking.”

DeMbare registered the first shot on target through Tellmore Pio in the 19th minute from range but his effort was calmly collected by Tedious Baye.

Manica Diamonds’s penalty appeals were dismissed in the 63th minute after Clive Mandivei appeared to have handled the ball in the box.

Frank Agymang was denied by the upright two minutes later as he tried to beat Baye on the near post.

Shadreck Nyahwa escaped a red card after he needlessly head-butted Bret Amindu in the 80th minute.

No red card, no goal, nothing to write home about.
