Zimbabwean producer Tatenda Kamera, known for his work with L-Tido featuring Ice Prince‘s hit “Fresh N Clean”, has made history once again, this time producing a record on the highly anticipated album “According To X” by Nigerian super star DJ Xclusive, who is also the official DJ to Wizkid.

The record called “Rassa” features South African female artiste Fiesta Black (FB) famous for the hit “Xibugu” and positions Kamera as one of the top AfroMusic producers on the continent.

What makes this a remarkable achievement is that the album features almost all or most of Nigeria’s musical heavy- weights. Artistes include the likes of Davido, Wizkid, Patoranking, Banky W, Ice Prince, Cassper Nyovest (South Africa), Sarkodie (Ghana), and producers include founder/CEO of Mavin Records Don Jazzy, Masterkraft and Spellz.

Kamera shared: “I am humbled to be part of this project and grateful to place a record on the same album with super talented megastars such as Davido and Don Jazzy. I would like to thank DJ Xclusive and the EME team for the opportunity to work and I am proud to represent Zimbabwe and take our music to the next level.”

The record “Rassa Muswe”, which is number three on the album was also co-written by Kamera and has a hook in the Shona language delivered by the talented Fiesta Black. It is guaranteed high rotation on radio stations across the continent.

Kamera is partnered with Anashe Media Group, a management company founded by fellow Zimbabwean and Grammy Award-winning producer Brian Soko, who has been working with Kamera for the past year collaborating on projects in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Nigeria and in the US.

“I am very excited for Kamera. He is immensely talented and a very hard working producer. We have some big projects in the pipeline together and he deserves all the success coming his way.” Exclaimed Soko.

Kamera has upcoming projects with Nigerian artistes Harry Song, Iyanya, Kcee, Sukiyaki, D-Black from Ghana and Chad Da Don from South Africa.
