Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion, Mthuli Ncube, is today visiting Mpilo Central Hospital where he is expected to tour the institution’s Radiotherapy Centre and Solar Plant.

The visit is aimed at assessing progress on key healthcare infrastructure projects and investments that are expected to improve service delivery at one of the country’s largest referral hospitals.
The tour will provide an opportunity for hospital management and Government officials to showcase ongoing investments in cancer treatment services through the Radiotherapy Centre, which plays a critical role in providing specialised care to patients from across the country.

Prof Ncube will also inspect the hospital’s Solar Plant, a strategic investment designed to enhance energy security at the institution and ensure uninterrupted delivery of critical health services amid power supply challenges.
