SOUTH African kwaito star Professor and locals, singer Sandra “Sandy” Ndebele, video director Andy Cutta and producer – DJ Oskid have something brewing.
Before meeting Cutta for the video shoot, Sandy, Professor and Oskid were in a studio in Bulawayo on Monday working on a song titled Nizwile which they assured music lovers would definitely be a summer anthem. And indeed, all the ingredients that are needed for a smash record are there with Professor’s street smart lyrics and distinctive voice being fused with Sandy – an artiste who has evolved this year and Oskid – an award winning producer behind successful tracks such as Winky Ds Disappear’s magic. Uhuru’s DJ Clap is set to add flavour on the song as well.

Professor had travelled to Bulawayo at the weekend to grace the Skyz Metro FM one year anniversary celebrations where he shared the stage with Sandy, Ammara Brown and Cal_Vin among other artistes at White City Stadium.
Asked about the forthcoming song, Sandy who is now preparing for her album launch later this year said:
“I’m working with Professor on a song which will be released soon. It’ll be a house track, one suitable for summer.”

Ndebele who has been inspired by Jah Prayzah who has had a meteoric rise because of collaborations, especially with international artistes, has also been on a collaboration spree as she wants her new album to have a different feel. So far, she has collaborated with Tocky Vibes, Mzoe 7 and Leeknotic.
