Progress Chipfumo to light up Odzi

TRIED and tested musician, Progress Chipfumo, is tomorrow (Saturday) set to light up the sleepy Odzi Business Centre in his potentially intriguing maiden gig.

Popularly known as Mangerengere, the dreadlocked musician who is popular for songs such as Kuraper Mwana, Dai Ndaiziva, Murume and Anondida Ndakadaro, among others, will start at 7pm.

He will be backed by popular dance group, Popo and Mbada Nehadzi who will perform from today (Friday) till Sunday.

 

DJs Bay Breezy, MC Solzman, DJ Bongo, DJ Mwita and Shalaz Power will take turns to entertain revellers on the turntables.

Club Mandisa

Afro-jazz sensation, Gary Tight, returns to the entertainment joint situated at the heart of the city for a date with his Mutare fans.

 

He performs tonight and tomorrow.

 

The mentee of the late legend Oliver Mtukudzi, who is also son of Afro-Jazz legend, Willom Tight, is popular for songs such as Ndiwe, Nzira Yangu, Tichembedzane and Ndizarurire which features Oliver Mtukudzi.

Chitsa Bar and Grill

Gary Tight will also perform at the joint situated in Dangamvura on Sunday.

 

He will headline the Sunday night jazz.

 

The show start at 6pm.

 

The weekend will see popular deejay Zinc Yard performing at the venue for the first time.

 

Resident deejays, Spillz and Wizzy will perform for the whole weekend starting tonight.

Fourth Street Lounge

New skool soundmen, Kartel Promotions, will host revellers, including families who frequent the open air joint situated at Mutare Showgrounds to unwind on Saturday.

Micasa

DJs, Frazer and Terminator take turns to entertain fun lovers at the upmarket bar starting today.

 

Imbibers are treated to all genres over the weekend before afro-jazz singer, Steve Chikotie, leads the Sunday jazz sessions.

 

The grill wing, Kapoto, offers sumptuous traditional foods all week through.

 

Every Wednesday, reggae outfit Just Friends entertain imbibers at the joint.
