INVESTING in the country’s property sector is still a good buy for investors as demand especially in housing is growing.
A number of cities across the country are battling growing housing waiting lists but lack capacity to develop new areas due to lack of capital.

Meanwhile, the Industrial index closed the week on Friday at 131.45 points after losing 0.34 points (0,26 percent) as heavy weight counters lose ground.

PPC plunged $0,0900 to $1,0000, Old Mutual lost $0,0400 to settle at $2,4500, Seedco eased $0,0097 to close at $0,9900. Delta was $0,0050 weaker at $0,8150.

Tobacco processor BAT led the movers with a $0,0420 gain to trade at $11,6420 and Padenga improved by $0,0026 to $0,0828. ZPI added $0,0005 to $0,0095 while Econet and Nicoz Diamond were each $0,0001 up to close at $0,2701 and $0,0171 respectively.

Week on week Industrial index shed 0.98 points (0,74 percent.

The Mining index was steady at 23.97 points.

Bindura, Falgold, Hwange and Rio Zim maintained previous price levels at $0,0135, $0,0050, $0,0340 and $0,1200 respectively.
