Prophet Madungwe in court for driving without a licence

Self-styled prophet Talent Madungwe (38) from Hatfield, in Harare has appeared before the Epworth Magistrates’ Court for driving without a licence.
Madungwe is facing two counts of contravening the Road Traffic Act, that is, driving without a valid licence and negligent driving.

He was remanded to October 9, 2024, for sentencing.

Allegations are that on August 6, 2024, at around 10:20 am, Madungwe was driving a Toyota Aqua out of his yard turning right and he side-swiped a Nissan NP300 single cab along a strip road next to Johua Nkomo Expressway coming from the south heading towards Harare city centre.

The vehicle sustained minor damage on its loading box. Madungwe was driving without a valid licence.
