PROPHET MAKES DANGEROUS, RECKLESS PROPHECY ABOUT VAST GOLD DEPOSITS BELOW THE NATIONAL SPORTS STADIUM

Arron Nyamayaro

DOES Prophet Obey Mukanhairi understand that his claims that there are substantial gold deposits, below the National Sports Stadium, could trigger a raft of illegal activities around the giant facility?

Does he also understand that his claims that there were substantial gold deposits, just 15 metres below the surface, around the Warren Hills Cemetery, could also trigger a raft of illegal activities around the area?

Does he also understand that his bold challenge for geologists to prove him wrong will also feed into the chaos, which can occur, after being triggered by his claims?

Yesterday, Prophet Mukanhairi claimed that “the National Sports Stadium sits on top of unidentified gold fields 15 m below the surface. Warren Hill Cemetery are all gold fields.

“Geologists…prove me wrong.”

Prophet Mukanhairi has more than 1,3 million followers on Facebook.

On a day in which he appeared to be in the mood to talk about mines, he also asked for prayers amid claims that his prophetic powers were telling him there will be a mine accident in Kadoma.

H-Metro, concerned that such claims, especially those suggesting there was a major goldfield under the National Sports Stadium, could result in some illegal activities around the country’s biggest sports stadium, reached out to the police.

National police spokesperson, Commissioner Paul Nyathi, urged people to avoid posting unverified information on social media platforms.

“The Zimbabwe Republic Police would like to warn people posting unverified information on social media,” said Comm Nyathi.

“Such posts may incite people into reacting to the claims thereby endangering people’s lives.

“Let it be known that it is a criminal offence to post unverified information and anyone found doing that will be arrested.”

Evangelist Chidziva urged Prophet Mukanhairi, and other prophets, to engage relevant authorities before posting national issues on social media or sharing such information to their followers.

“His prophecy is a serious threat to the security of the National Sports Stadium considering the claims of the existence of the precious yellow metal.

“Mukanhairi and any other prophet must be schooled in how they communicate their so-called prophecies and show maturity.

“National issues must be addressed through the national leaders instead of seeking attention by posting on social media or sharing such information to please church members.

“Prophets must attend prophetic schools and learn how and when to communicate their messages.

“God is of order and not of disorder,” said Evangelist Chidziva.

He blamed some local Bible College institutions for producing “half-baked” pastors, prophets, teachers, evangelists and apostles who are now flooding local communities with gospels meant to feed their pockets.

“The Holy Bible teaches about the coming of false prophets in their numbers and they are being trained at various colleges for three to six months and some are now calling themselves prophets.

“The Five Fold ministry servants cannot be trained and finish the whole subjects, most of them are after feeding their pockets and a number of people have been caught unaware.
