IN a powerful demonstration of faith and divine intervention, a series of healing and deliverance services were held in Zimbabwe by Prophet Kacou Philippe from the Ivory Coast. As stated in Kc.165:178, Prophet Kacou Philippe prayed that wherever the report of Zimbabwe is read, listened to, or watched in the right spirit, the Angel of God would be present to confirm the Message in 162 chapters through miracles and healings.
The healing services, which featured Prophet Kacou Philippe praying for individuals, were captured on video and documented in chapters. These resources are being shared freely with everyone, with the intention of bringing hope and healing to those, who have faith in the power of prayer and the message of the prophet.
Following in the footsteps of Prophet William Marrion Branham, who ministered in the then Southern Rhodesia now Zimbabwe in 1951, Prophet Kacou Philippe too received a divine mandate from an Angel of God to visit Zimbabwe, after his ministry in South Africa.
With a visa secured and a scheduled trip date of April 3, 2025, the stage was scheduled for a powerful encounter with the divine, which was set to take place at Magamba Hall auditorium in Warren Park, Harare, but a day before the trip, his visa was cancelled for the simple reason that he had obtained a double-entry visa, while it was the first time he had applied for a visa for Zimbabwe. Efforts to resolve the problem were unsuccessful.
Prophet Kacou Philippe’s visa situation was later resolved paving the way for his healing campaigns in Zimbabwe. Initially, an immigration agent informed the prophet that his visa had been cancelled, and a red flag had been placed on his name so that he would not be granted a visa if he applied for one, again causing devastation to hundreds of people, who were anticipating his arrival.
However, on April 3, just hours after the prophet posted the cancellation document on the internet and prepared to depart for Ivory Coast from Johannesburg airport, he received news that a new single-entry visa had been issued to him.
The visa was valid from April 3 to July 3, 2025 allowing the prophet to enter Zimbabwe for his scheduled healing services.
Following the resolution of the visa issue, the prophet set new dates for his healing services in Zimbabwe, which were to run from April 16 to April 27.
Upon arrival at Harare airport, Prophet Kacou Philippe’s immigration process was surprisingly smooth, thanks to the kindness of a policeman he did not know, who was waiting for him in civilian clothes at the door of the plane.
However, when his passport was handed back to him, he noticed that it contained a double-entry visa with a validity period of just one month, from April 15, to May 15, 2025. Without any explanation or additional documentation, the prophet understood that not everyone was welcoming his arrival.
Undeterred, Prophet Kacou Philippe headed straight to the Magamba Hall auditorium in Warren Park, where he arrived at the end of the service on April 16, 2025. Despite the light rain, he was greeted with applause upon arrival. Humility marked his response as he asked the audience not to applaud emphasising that he was merely a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. After a brief prayer, the meeting was set for the following day, April 17, 2025.
Throughout their stay, rain fell without disrupting any of the healing services or deterring people from attending. Later, someone attributed the rain to the prophet’s presence, saying that it had been years since Zimbabwe had seen rain, but it began to fall after the prophet’s arrival was announced.
The following day Prophet Kacou Philippe arrived at the packed Magamba Hall auditorium, where he delivered an exhortation on the importance of changing one’s life and the significance of eternal life, followed by a powerful healing service. The atmosphere was charged with emotion, with some of the sick crying out in the hall as they experienced the power of God.
The prophet’s ministry in Zimbabwe was marked by a sense of humility, power and divine intervention as many people gathered to seek healing and spiritual guidance.
The healing service led by Prophet Kacou Philippe, was a remarkable event that brought together people from various backgrounds, including pastors, prophets and prophetesses from South Africa, Mozambique and other countries. Following the Angel’s recommendation, the prophet began by praying for those with severe illnesses, such as paralytics, the blind, the lame and those with cancer, who were seated in the front row.
As the prophet prayed for the sick, Apostle Yanick informed him that Pastor Richard Mushwana, who had come from South Africa to verify the healings had already confirmed four instantaneous healings. The prophet continued to pray for the sick and by the end of the service, the number of confirmed instantaneous healings had reached 20.
The prayer line consisted not only of sick individuals but also of religious leaders, including apostles, teachers, evangelists, pastors, prophets and prophetesses. Some were seeking healing, while others were there to receive the Holy Spirit. The prophet, unaware of their specific needs, prayed for them and some were touched by the power of God, flinching or being under anointing.
After the healing service, the testimonies began and the list of healed individuals continued to grow. People who had been seated due to their inability to stand or walk on their own climbed the stairs to the platform without assistance, sharing their testimonies to thunderous applause.
One testimony that stood out was that of Aquila Mutchena, daughter of Bishop Mutchena, a founder of the Masimba Avaparidzi Apostolic Church.
The young woman had been suffering from a 12-year-long haemorrhage similar to the biblical account. As soon as the prophet touched her, she was instantly healed. Overcome with emotion, she checked to confirm the miracle and then called her father to share the news. Her years of suffering, fear and stress had come to an end, thanks to the prophet’s prayer.
Bishop Mutchena travelled to Bulawayo and met Prophet Kacou Philippe in private on April 22, afternoon. This meeting underscored the significance of the prophet’s ministry and the impact it had on the lives of those who sought his prayers.
On April 19 at the Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex in Harare, the prophet delivered an exhortation, emphasising the purpose of divine healing, which is Eternal Life. He also highlighted the growing testimonies of healing and miracles from the services in South Africa, expressing his expectation of many more miracles and testimonies in Zimbabwe.
A special service of testimonies was organised on April 18, for those who were healed on April 17, 2025. One testimony that captured the audience’s attention was that of a woman, who had been completely deaf in one ear for two years. After receiving the prophet’s prayer, she checked her ear every moment until she fell asleep. Around midnight, she woke up and discovered that her deaf ear could hear perfectly. Overjoyed, she shouted,
“My deaf ear can hear! I can hear again! Glory be to God!”
On Saturday, April 19, the healing service at the Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex began around midday. Apostle Yanick prepared the audience to receive healing, while a man possessed by demons caused a disturbance. However, as soon as the prophet arrived, the man regained his faculties and took a seat.
The prophet explained that divine healing requires two factors: the gift of healing of the one who prays and the faith of the one who receives the prayer. He then asked if the woman, who had been healed of a 12-year-long haemorrhage was present, and she confirmed that the bleeding had stopped and had not returned since the prophet’s prayer.
The healing services touched so many people including an old woman, who was blind and received her sight during one of the services. They were a testament to the power of faith and the gift of healing that brought hope and restoration to many lives.
