PROPHETESS Emma Mutisi launched her double album, titled ‘Ngaanamatwe,’ at the Anglican Cathedral in Harare last weekend and it was a huge success.
The album consists of nine tracks.
Prophetess Mutisi was supported by various gospel artists, including the legendary Baba Machanic Manyeruke.
She said the album was different from her previous work because most of the songs came from the heart as she was grieving after the loss of her mother.
She said the album is special to her because it consists of three collaborations with Munyaradzi Munodawafa, Orbret Chari and John Munodawafa.
In an interview with H-Metro, Prophetess Mutisi said she was able to balance her roles as a pastor and a gospel artist
‘’The two roles work hand-in-hand, both roles use the Bible and the word of God to minister to people.
“Both roles need divine revelation to interpret and reveal the mysteries of the word.
“Usually, I compose my songs from the sermons I preach to the people and the sermons I hear from others.
“In both roles, I remain an instrument in the hands of God to convey His message to mankind.
‘’Financial constraints are a challenge but support from the family, friends and fans helped me.”
Prophetess Mutisi also advised young women to know and understand what they want to do and not to give up.
She said there were no limitations in Christ.
