UNITED Family International Church (UFIC) Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa and Spirit Embassy Prophet Uebert Angel have joined mourners in consoling the Chivayo family following the death of businessman Wicknell Chivayo, his wife Lucy Muteke and three others in a helicopter crash at Kudenga Farm in Marondera on Wednesday.

Prophet Makandiwa also took the opportunity to clarify whether he had prophesied the death of the philanthropist and his wife.

“We extend our condolences to the families of Mr and Mrs Chivayo and to the families of the special crew on board that did not make it home alive, and to the Johane Masowe church and its leaders. We pray for the comfort that only God provides,” he said.

Prophet Makandiwa thanked God for the time he had spent with the late businessman.

“I thank God that we had time together at their house where we had supper and private discussions in that and previous other meetings whose purposes remain confidential,” he said.

“As for the question of whether I saw the accident prophetically before time or not as some may wonder; that, to me, was rendered unimportant when I stated in time past my inability to see everything.

“I reiterate that I have never seen everything, I don’t see everything, and I won’t see everything, only God does because he has no gift to see. What is important to note, for those that care, is that the couple knew their time to be taken and desired for that time to be while they were at their best, and their giving and helping people was to be completed on time hence, they were in a rush to give and indeed SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST.

“You don’t honour your Leaders and share your wealth with people at that magnitude and depart without a clear knowledge. The departure should be at your best time but unfortunately, the time may not be the best for those you leave behind.”

Prophet Hubert Angel described the late Chivayo as a generous giver.

He said the late businessman had become part of his family, with his presence, kindness, friendship and love leaving a lasting mark on his life, his family and the lives of many people around the world.

“He left this world alongside his beloved wife, Lulu, the two pilots and his wife’s aide,” he said.

“Four precious lives were suddenly taken, leaving behind families and loved ones who are now trying to make sense of a loss that is almost impossible to comprehend.

“My heart goes out to every family affected by this tragedy. But even in the middle of this pain, I choose to hold on to Jesus.”
