A Harare woman has been granted a protection order against her boyfriend who has been allegedly harassing her.

Sherry Chidziva told Harare Civil Court Magistrate Ms Meenal Narotam that her ex-boyfriend, Malvin Zuva, has been harassing her.

“He came to my place and started hitting me. About two weeks back, he took my phone and twisted my arm.

“He stalks me on my way from work. If I am accompanied by another man, he drags me or shouts at me.”

Zuva did not deny the allegations.

Ms Narotam granted the protection order in Chidziva’s favour and barred Zuva from harassing or assaulting her.
