PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are set to launch a £75million swoop for Manchester United star Marcus Rashford, according to reports.
The French giants are eager to reignite their interest in Rashford, having previously tried to sign him in 2022.
On that occasion Rashford, 26, opted to stay at Old Trafford and penned a new £350,000-a-week contract valid until 2028.
With PSG talisman, Kylian Mbappe leaving Parc des Princes, most likely for Real Madrid, this summer – Luis Enrique’s side are set to try again for Rashford as they look to fill the huge void set to be created on their left flank.
According to the Mirror, the Ligue 1 champions are ready to bid £75m for the England forward.
Man Utd would rather receive a fee closer to £100m for their home-grown star.
But as they look to retool their squad within the Premier League’s P&S rules, United may be tempted to cash in.
With Rashford having come through the ranks with the Red Devils, money received for him would be classified as pure profit.
Should he move to PSG, Rashford would command a record fee received by Man Utd for an English player.
That record is currently held by David Beckham, who moved to Real Madrid for around £25m in 2003.
Rashford has scored just seven times in 27 Premier League appearances this season. He has also had difficulties with boss Erik ten Hag. — Online
