THE Castle Lager Premiership relegation dogfight, with eight teams facing the chop, will spill into the last round of 2025 season fixtures after all matches but one ended in stalemates across the country.

Nothing much changed on the table as Manica Diamonds fought long and hard to hold Highlanders to a one all draw at Barboufields Stadium in Bulawayo while Bikita Minerals did the same against Simba Bhora at Sakubva Stadium in Mutare today.

Triangle were the only winners of MatchDay 33 in the Castle Lager Premiership MatchDay 33 after trouncing relegated Kwekwe United 4-0 at Gibbo Stadium.

ZPC Karina played a goalless draw against TelOne while fellow relegation candidates Dynamos and Yadah Stars played a one all stalemate.
Ngezi Platinum and Chicken Inn also played a goalless draw.

Eastern Region teams – Manica Diamonds, Bikita Minerals, GreenFuel and Triangle are all part of the relegation matrix.

Interestingly, next weekend, on the final day of the 2025 season, the four will condemn each other to the less fashionable world of Division One as Manica Diamonds face Bikita Minerals at Sakubva Stadium while GreenFuel host Triangle at the GreenFuel Arena.
