The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) has summoned Ngezi Platinum Stars FC and their head coach, Takesure Chiragwi, to appear before a Disciplinary Committee following incidents that occurred during their league match against Dynamos at Rufaro Stadium on 4 October.

Charges against Chiragwi relate to violent and disorderly conduct, as well as improper behaviour likely to bring the game of football into disrepute.

During the match, Chiragwi reportedly lost his temper and slapped his own player, McDonald Makuwe, following a disputed equaliser by Dynamos.

Ngezi Platinum Stars face charges of disturbing the normal proceedings of a match and exhibiting improper behaviour and conduct by members of their technical team and players.

The disciplinary hearings are scheduled to take place at the PSL offices on Tuesday, 28 October, at 5:30pm.
