The Home of Arts has officially launched its annual Pumula Royal Arts and Creativity Awards (Praca) at Isilwane Youth Centre in Pumula Old, Bulawayo.

The three-day festivities will culminate with the awards ceremony at Pumula North Hall on Saturday, celebrating the achievements of creatives from the Pumula community.
Beyond recognising artistic talent, the event also aims to address pressing social issues, including climate change, gender-based violence (GBV), and drug and substance abuse.

The annual awards are being held under the theme: “Transforming Communities, Amplifying Youth Voices, Accelerating Change through Arts and Youth Creativity.”

Praca continues to provide a platform for young artists and creatives to showcase their talent while driving positive change in their communities through art.
