ONE person died while 15 were injured after a Toyota Hiace Kombi carrying high school pupils veered off the road and overturned before landing on its side at the 62 kilometre peg along the Mutare-Juliasdale Road.
In a statement on X, Police confirmed the fatal road traffic accident involving pupils from Nyangani High School which occurred on 7 November. The kombi had 19 passengers on board. The body of the victim is at Bonda Mission Hospital for post mortem while some the injured are admitted to the same hospital and others are at Victoria Chitepo Provincial Hospital.
