Pupils steal whisky

A Seke 8 High School pupil was recently arraigned before the courts for stealing whisky in a TM supermarket over the weekend. They both admitted to theft charges when they appeared before Mbare magistrate Ms Kudzai Zihove. The pair were remanded in prison for sentence.

One told the court that he was still a pupil and needed the money to pay his school fees.

The other told the court he intended to sell the alcohol as he had no means of earning a living.

The court heard that the pair stole two bottles of Two Keys whisky, a bottle of Bols brandy and four packs of milk and put the stolen property in a plastic bag.

A security guard who was by the door then apprehended the two. A report was made to the police leading to their arrest. – The Herald.
