Qounfuzed, Bazooker combine forces

DANCEHALL artists, Qounfuzed and Bazooker, have combined forces to release a club banger titled Kamunamato Keku Bhawa.

The song, co-produced by KSG Di Don and Prof Lalo, is Qounfuzed’s third release this year after Uchachema and Dzihwa.

Qounfuzed revealed to H-Metro the song encourages people to pray before going out for drinks.

“The song is a clubbing or partying prayer that encourages people to pray before going out for drinks.

“I noticed that most religious people like to go to the club too so the song simply brings everyone together in prayer and reminds people to put the Lord first before anything else, including partying and drinking.”

He said  he engaged Bazooker after talks with Freeman collapsed.

“I approached Bazooker with different samples last year and he chose to do Kamunamato Keku Bhawa after I had attempted to work with Freeman on the same project but he felt it was a bit too controversial for him.

“When Bazooker agreed to do it, I was happy to work with him because I had always thought Bazooker was very talented but was underrated and misunderstood in the industry, just like myself.

“I figured if we combined both the hard core and commercial side of things, we would come up with something solid,” he said.

Qounfuzed said the visuals to the song will be out this month.

“Kamunamato Keku Bhawa, the national party anthem for 2022 as I like to call it, has got two visuals, the animation and the official music video, which is dropping soon.

“I think I have four to six more singles to be released, including the much-awaited Now and Then,  Nguva , Vhenekai,  Haudi Kudiwa ft Master H and Kujola and probably a few more surprises.

“The official music video was shot by Wale Visuals and Prozx Films.

“It features so many acts like Comedian Tina Boi, model Yolanda Cream, dance choreographer, Nixxi The Code Breaker, and other socialites,” he added.
