Racing season ends

BORROWDALE will host the last race meeting of the 2013-14 season when the racecourse stages the Breeders Filly, along with six other races, tomorrow. The racing season will take a break until September 7. Borrowdale Racing manager Robson Chinamasa said they will hold their last race meeting tomorrow. “Please be advised that this is the last meeting of the 2013-2014 racing season. We are having a seasonal break for Scarification from July 28 to September 6 2014.
“The next race meeting will be on September 7,” said Chinamasa.

The Little Chikitita Maiden Plate, which has US$7 500 in stakes, will see 17 runners taking to the field in the 1 200 metres. The second race will be the Mota End of Season with US$6 400 in stakes, over 1 200 metres.
