ZRP RAIDERS coach Vulindlela Moyo is upbeat about his team’s chances of doing well at the Confederation of African Volleyball Zone Six Club Championships set for Botswana. The Championships roar into life this weekend and will run until the December 22. The games were initially scheduled for Swaziland but due to unforeseen developments they had to be moved to Gaborone.
The veteran coach expressed satisfaction with his team’s preparations ahead of the championships.

“We have been training every day, we just have to work on a few grey areas and fine tune our combinations, I’m happy we have no injuries or other commitments, everyone is available which is a boost for us,” he said.

He challenged the girls not to lose steam if they were to be crowned champions.
“The level of competition will be very high, so the girls will have to be at their best, however with the training we have had so far, I’m confident we can do well,” he said.

Zimbabwe is sending six representatives in both men and women categories.
Support Unit, Stanbic Bank sponsored Thunder, Black Rhinos will represent men while University of Zimbabwe, Support Unit are the other teams in the women’s category.
