Rain delay Zim, Ireland toss

THE toss for the ICC T20 World Cup match between Zimbabwe and Ireland at Pallekele has been delayed by rain.

The Chevrons must win the game to qualify for the Super 8, but if the match is not eventually played, Zimbabwe will still qualify, knocking out Ireland and Australia in the process.

By midday, it was still raining at the venue in Sri Lanka and the entire pitch was under covers.
