TALENTED rapper, Lenon “Mic Sprinter” Gwara, says he has found a new path in fitness and wellness.
The 27-year-old, who is popular for hit songs like 24 hours in Bangazi, God and Zvikwambo, is now doing body electro therapy.
In an interview with H- Metro, Mic Sprinter, said:
“Fitness and wellness is where the world is going at present, but what inspired me to be in this industry is the fact that you get to enjoy your job at the same time keeping yourself healthy.
“I specialise in electro therapy which includes the use of machines, while in sports I am more focused in recovery programmes.
“Coach Tendai Chituwa, founder and CEO of Zi Fitness, has been my mentor and very instrumental in my health and wellness career.”
Music wise, Mic Sprinter has vowed to leave a mark.
“I am still doing music but these days I’m a content producer and also a TV personality.
“I have done content production for so many big names in Africa like Joeboy, the late AKA, Nasty C, Cassper Nyovest, King 98, Davido just to mention a few but I’m excited to be doing music and wellness health at the same time .
“I have not dumped music but I’m more focused on making sure that Zimbabwe recognises electro therapy and we start implementing such treatments in our sports industry.”
Mic Sprinter says he dreams of working for any of the national sporting squads or some of the top African and European football clubs in the near future.
Locally, he has worked with some of the top football clubs and the Sevens female rugby team.
He is currently working with a number of big names in Zimbabwean football and sports wellness and recovery programmes for players.
