RISING Zim hip hop artist, Maben ‘9Seit’ Gara, has released a single titled Kudhara, encouraging those suffering from depression.

The 23-year-old from Tshabalala in Bulawayo said his heart bleeds for those multitudes from around the country suffering from depression.

Speaking to H-Metro, 9Seit said the track serves as a reminder that even during the darkest of times, there is still light at the end of the tunnel.

“Drawing inspiration from my personal experiences and struggles, I infuse raw emotion into my music, creating an authentic connection with the audience.

“Kudhara is a testament to my dedication to spreading positivity and inspiring individuals to push through their battles with depression.

“This release comes at a time when discussions surrounding mental health are crucial, especially during a period marked by unprecedented global challenges, and my music provides a much-needed escape, allowing listeners to find solace and strength with empowering lyrics, “ he said.

He hopes that Kudhara will uplift and motivate those fighting battles with depression, reminding them that they are not alone in their struggles and that they can overcome any obstacle.

9Seit has been making waves in the Zimbabwe hip hop scene, with his unique blend of traditional and contemporary sounds, and his passion for social justice and youth empowerment.
