THE biker who led the Dynamos roadshow in Harare on Sunday is now under police investigation.

He is being accused of flouting road traffic regulations by driving his motor bike without wearing a safety helmet.

Even his passenger, a fellow Dynamos-supporting lady, was not wearing a safety helmet during the roadshow.

National police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said police were strongly warning such fans that excitement should not lead into committing crimes.

“That motorist is portraying a bad image in terms of law and order,” said Ass Comm Nyathi.

“As police, we are warning such fans to desist from violating the law and endangering passengers.

“We have instituted investigations with a view to identifying the motorist,” he said.

According to road traffic rules and regulations, motorbike drivers are required to have safety helmets.

The passengers also require safety helmets.
