THERE is only one place that you can be at on Friday evening if you are looking for the perfect way to start your weekend and that place is none other than Ster-Kinekor (SK) Bulawayo Cinema!
The movie exhibitors are in full swing ahead of the premiere of the long-awaited 10th installment in the Fast and Furious franchise, Fast X film which is scheduled to be on screens on Friday evening, all over the world.
Just like most cinemas in all corners of the world, the state-of-the-art SK Bulawayo movie house will have the privilege of showing what could be the last edition of the decorated movie franchise.
A red-carpet event has been organised for the premiere an hour before the movie is aired. There will be a touch of local entertainment for the crowd before they are entertained by Justin Lin’s crew on the big screen.
Hip-hop superstar, Asaph will be there to give fans a taste of ‘Idolatry’ before the movie starts at 7pm.
SK Bulawayo Cinema management promised a time to remember with tickets already on sale.
“Ster-Kinekor is the perfect place to see Fast X. The premiere will be a red-carpet event with tons of excitement as we look to see how the brilliant film continues to build on the legacy of the franchise. Tickets for the premiere are available for purchase at the cinema box office,” said the Bulawayo branch manager, Sharon Zimunya in a statement.
The Fast and Furious franchise has been going strong for over two decades, and each new film has built on the previous ones. Fast X is no exception. The film features a number of callbacks to previous films, as well as new characters and storylines that will keep fans entertained.
One of the most notable callbacks in Fast X is the return of Han Lue (Sung Kang). Han was presumed dead in Fast & Furious 6, but he makes a surprise return in Fast X. His return is sure to please fans who have been waiting to see him again.
Another callback in Fast X is the return of the Toretto family. Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel), Mia Toretto (Jordana Brewster), and Jakob Toretto (John Cena) are all back for this film, and they will have to work together to stop a new threat.
Fast X also introduces a number of new characters including Jason Momoa as the villain. Momoa is a great addition to the cast, and he brings a lot of charisma to the role. The film also features some new storylines that will keep fans on the edge of their seats. One of the most exciting storylines involves Dom Toretto’s relationship with his son, Brian. Brian is a new character who is played by Finn Cole.
“Overall, Fast X is a great addition to the Fast and Furious franchise. The film builds on the previous films in the franchise, and it features a number of callbacks, new characters, and storylines that will keep fans entertained.
