Everything was done orderly, the stage and the decor was on point clearly depicting their theme “God is also for Africa.

Lighting and sound work on stage was superb, confirming the organiser’s indication that they took their time planning the event.

The auditorium was full to the brim and they made sure they avoided mistakes.

Clad in pure African attires, the Redeemed Family did not disappoint, the guests were kept on their feet as they sang along to the songs.

The icing on the cake was the emceeing by the duo of talented radio personalities Phathisani “Shumba” Sibanda (Capitalk 100.4 FM and Tami (Star FM).

The two piloted the show with great art and skill.

Supporting acts came from Everton Mlalazi, Radiance accapela and Zither harmony from Zambia. “We have a good working relationship with Redeemed Family group, when we launched our album last year they came and sang well.

“We are happy that they have ushered a new wave of music we all love this African feel,” said Roland Kudakwashe Mayedzenga, Radiance accapela group director.

During their performance Radiance sang the song “Unodei” which mesmerised the audience.

“The song was written by Vusimuzi Sibanda about two years ago, we are happy that people love it is a good song that speaks to people’s lives,” he added.

“The concert was fantastic, great African feel we thank the Redeemed Family for organizing such a wonderful concert. Everyone who performed did exceptionally well.
