Regional Islamic awakening a result of Moslem recourse

is the result of Moslems’ recourse to their genuine Islamic identity.
The glory and majesty of Muslim Ummah lies in returning to power of Islam, reliance on God Almighty and identification of their immense power, said Ayatollah Khamenei in an address to a group of officials and people at Imam Khomeini Hosseinieh. Ayatollah Khamenei said Islamic awakening in the region and public presence on the scene to decide their fate are highly important and valuable experiences in (the) history of Islam.

“The events taking place in Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen, Libya, Bahrain and certain other countries today are decisive and destiny making for the Moslem nations. If the will of Moslem nations triumphs over those, interfering in Moslem states’ affairs, the states will for a long period be able to move forward. But if the imperialist and hegemonic powers and Zionism, including the US tyrannical and despotic regime, manage to use the on-going conditions in their own favour, the world of Islam will definitely face big problems for tens of years,” warned the Ayatollah.

Ayatollah Khamenei said Muslim Ummah, the political and cultural elite of the world of Islam in particular, shoulder a very important and vital duty to prevent such an unfavourable event happening.
“Today is the day of a big test for Moslem countries and nations because the nations have become aware of their capability and immense power.”

Lauding (the) Iranian nation’s achievements over the past 30 years, the Ayatollah said the achievements are a clear example of the public resistance and use of all powers available to move on the straight line. – IRNA.
