“This is a performance for some of the songs on my debut EP. I am so excited for you to hear the music that was written quite long ago still applies today and I believe in perfect timing,” she said.
Her message showed just how personal the project is, as she reflected on how songs written years ago continue to speak to her life today. The visual recording promises to give fans an intimate performance while highlighting the stories behind the music.
In the caption of her post, Relebogile explained that the project came together in a way she never expected.
“What started as preparation for one thing unexpectedly became the beginning of something else.
Sometimes life asks us to take an off-ramp. What looks like a detour may be leading us exactly where we need to go. Still Me Live became that beautiful detour for me and the beginning of a new chapter in my journey as an artist.
I poured my heart and soul into this recording alongside my incredible band and special guest, @ribenjamin. I cannot wait to finally share it with you.” – OK.
