The body has facts, findings and details in logical order. Use headings and short paragraphs. From there follow with conclusion and recommendations. Sum up and suggest next steps.
The tone used here is formal, objective and you give opinions unless asked in that report. Here is a quick example on a School Trip Report. You have a Report on Form Four Trip to Great Zimbabwe. The six method for any comprehension question. In step one, read questions first. What to do? Scan all questions before reading the passage. Underline key words. Second step is to skim the passage. What do you do? Read quickly to get the gist. Who, where, main idea.
Next step is to read properly. This is a second, which is slower. Put a line/mark where you spot answers to Q1, Q2.
Next to paragraphing, write Q1 when you see the reason left. Answer using the passage. Never use your own ideas unless asked, Lift words but change structure slightly.
Match the marks. One mark = short direct. Two marks = add detail or reason. Three marks = explain example. Give two reasons means write separate points, not long one. Next step means check language that is in full sentences.
Capital letters, spelling. This is number one I think.
Common question types and how to attack them. State/ Give/ Name. Means copy facts directly. Keep it short. Question: State one item as an example. Why/ Explain/ Give reasons. Must use because or due to. In your own words. Do not copy. Find the sentence, then swap words.
