Reps Theatre to host dance fiesta

Entertainment Reporter
Reps Theatre will on March 29 present a music and hip-hop dance show called “We Are Here” featuring Extreme Vision Dance Crew, Tehn Diamond, Megan and Josh starting at 6pm.
The dance crews will battle for top honours going pound for pound in what is expected to the biggest night of dance.
All the participating groups will showcase in two categories namely “one on one BBoy battle” and “2on 2 All Styles” where dancers have to be creative and showcase some of the latest dances never seen before.

The show, moulded along the lines of “Dance Battle” aired on DStv, will be a must attend for those who love hip-hop dance and music.
But hip-hop heads would be pleased to see Tehn Diamond on stage.

Known for his scintillating performances, the “Happy “ singer was a hit when he showcased on Big Brother — The Chase last year with the hit “Grown Up Kid’’ driving the audience into a frenzy. It was more like a Zimbabwean show as fans sang along when he chanted “Grown Up Kid”.
The rapper was later joined by Junior Brown to perform “Madrinks’’ and “Happy’’.

Seriously comparing to previous artistes from other countries who performed during the live shows, Tehn Diamond proved to be the best. He was energetic and managed to control his audience despite the limited time.

Tehn Diamond recently dropped the first single off his much-awaited debut album “The Perfect Tehn” titled “Simudza Gumbo”.
It features the talents of producers “Begottensun” and fellow Few Kings-mate Tatenda “Take Fizzo” Jenami with percussion from Blessing “Bled” Chimanga.

He also roped in Zim Dancehall chanter Dhadza D on the hook.
