Residents raise concerns over casino

H-Metro Reporter
Residents in Belgravia suburbs have raised concerns over operations by a Chinese casino Suncity citing security issues.
The casino reportedly emerged into operations last week and suspicions are that it is not registered.

Contacted for comment, one of the officials, identified as Kim, asked where the publication got her contacts.

“Thanks for information ~ but first of all where u get my contact please?

“I am willing to meet no problem. You know I don’t like leaking information,” she said.

A Belgravia resident said there are worries that the casino which is located in the middle of a low density area might be haven of criminal activities.

“The emergence of the casino might breed criminals in our area. It is in the middle of our suburban residential area and we wonder who could be behind the establishment of such an entity.

“We have fears that this casino might not be properly registered and some corrupt individuals or city fathers could be behind this casino,” said a resident.

Due to a spike in criminal activities targeting low density suburb the residents are calling for police to investigate the operations of the Casino.

“There is need for law enforcement agents to look into this place as for we fear that this could see the breeding of criminal activities in our hood,” said a local neighbourhood security personnel.

Efforts to get a comment from the City council were fruitless.
