‘RESPECT, PRAY, LOVE’ AUTHOR TACKLES MARRIAGES

AUTHOR Shupikai Magason has published a novel that tackles marriage challenges.

It also provides ways of how couples can clear such hurdles.

Titled “You Never Know What the Future Holds”, the book is a tale of a young woman who married into a rich family, but was destroyed by her pride.

The 55-year-old Magason said women should always respect their husbands.

“In life, wherever or whenever you get a chance in life, value it and use it wisely. Never allow pride to ruin your life.

“As for the married, respect your husband and his family, treat them well, never love money, properties more than your family, your parents, your in-laws, and love your neighbours.

“Remember where you came from, you never know what the future holds.”

She added:

“The book is about a farm girl, who got the opportunity of getting love from a city boy and later destroyed that opportunity because of pride.

“Her ending was very miserable and full of regret. She then tried again to regain her marriage, and all that she had, but to no avail, and ended up on the farm where she began.

“Women should respect marriage, submission, humility, obedience, avoid pride, have genuine love and stop gender-based violence.”

Magason said she enjoys serving God and counselling and mentoring young people who are struggling to end bad habits.
