ARMY side Black Rhinos have never conceded a single goal since they adopted Rimuka as their new home ground on week 14 of the Castle Lager Premiership and coach Arthur Tutani is upbeat that the good spell will continue when they host Black Mambas on Sunday.At the start of the season, Rhinos used Gwanzura for most of their home matches but results were eluding them until they shifted base to Kadoma where they are undefeated.
In their second game at Rimuka, Black Rhinos stunned FC Platinum 2-0 with Lot Chiwunga and an own goal from Thabani Kamusoko giving them the three points.
Chipembere managed to steal a priceless point when they restricted league champions Dynamos to a 0-0 draw and then beat Shabanie Mine 2-0 in their last home game.
But while Rhinos have been collecting points at home, the Premiership returnees are finding it tough on the road as they lost 2-1 to Chicken Inn in their last game at Luveve.
On Sunday, Rhinos will host Black Mambas, who are still smarting from their 1-0 defeat to Buffaloes at Morris Depot.
“I think we have been playing well at home because the supporters always come in their numbers to rally behind us.
“We are establishing a very good following in Kadoma and I think our players do not want to disappoint the fans.
“Since I took over from Nesbert (Saruchera) I have made just a few changes to the side,” said Tutani.
Tutani, a former coach at Mwana Africa and Monomotapa, hopes that Rhinos will be able to preserve their Premiership status at the end of the season.
“We know it will be a tricky match because Mambas are coming from a defeat. I respect Black Mambas because they have a very good technical department.
“At the moment we need to get points and move away from the relegation and I hope we will get the maximum points,” said Tutani.
The Rhinos’ attack is led by the pair of former Warriors strikers Phillip Marufu and Gilbert Mushangazhike.
All our players are geared up for this game,” said Tutani.
The match at Rimuka is the only Castle Lager Premiership this weekend as attention is mainly on the BancABC Sup8r Cup between Shabanie Mine and FC Platinum at Mandava tomorrow.
