STANFORD “Stix” Mutizwa has been relieved of his duty as Black Rhinos coach.
Club secretary-general, Edward Mutukwa, confirmed this to H-Metro.
The two-time league champions lost confidence in their legend after a slow start to this campaign, registering one win in seven attempts.
The Rhinos leadership are believed to have made their mind when they suffered a 0-4 loss at the hands of Manica Diamonds on Saturday.
Mutizwa becomes the third coach to be shown the exit door after Green Fuel’s Lloyd Mutasa and Bhekithemba Ndlovu.
Johanisi Nhumwa and Saul Chaminuka are believed to be in contention for this seat.
But, as they await for the appointment of the new boss, the club’s fitness trainers – Brighton Chandisaita and Shadreck Jimu – have been tasked with keeping the ship moving.
