Rhinos target Highlanders

Sports Reporter
BLACK RHINOS want to pick up from where they left when they host Highlanders in a Castle Lager Premiership match at the National Sports Stadium tomorrow.

Rhinos concluded the first half of the season on a high note, beating Ngezi Platinum at the same venue just before the mid-season break.

Coach Herbert Maruwa said they need to carry on with their positive attitude.

“Basically, in terms of resting, it’s good for the players but at the same time it’s tricky, it can kill the rhythm.

”It depends with the attitude, we need to quickly get back to business. We need the right attitude going into the second where every team is playing for a reason.

”Some are playing for the championship, some are playing to avoid relegation and coaches have targets. We need to continue with our good form such that by the end of the season we will end up on a good position.”

Maruwa said they were going for maximum points tomorrow.

“We are targeting five wins in the next five games starting with the Highlanders game. We need a positive result but it’s going to be a tricky game, they will come hard on us. ”
