Rhumba galore, Golden classics this weekend

IT is a night of rhumba tonight as veteran rhumba icon, Jack Mapanga, descends of Mutare for the first time this year.
In an emotional return to a city that gave him fame, Mapanga will thrill fans with danceable rhumba beats such as “Takayenda”, “Prezha”, “Zvipo”, which features BV Labien Musica.
On the same night, Mapanga will share the stage with Lady Storm, whose stage name is Eriza.
The two will light up the joint situated at the heart of Zimunya Township from 8pm.
Chitsa Bar and Liquids
Tonight’s festivities dubbed, Black Friday, will be hosted by the energetic duo, Stixxie and Popinjo, bringing the heat and setting the mood for the weekend. On Saturday, it will be all about Jersey Saturday where every reveller is required to wear a jersey of their favourite team of any sport, any league.
Stixxie and Popinjo will be back to headline the party, starting from 2pm until late.
Patrons will wind down the weekend on a classic note with Old School Sunday, led by DJ Tawaz.
Fourth Street Lounge
The joint makes a bold return with a curated DJ lineup that is sure to impress. Saturday is all about the New School wave, serving fresh sounds for the modern music lover.
Sunday eases into a more relaxed vibe with timeless Old School classics — perfect for unwinding in style as the weekend wraps.

Leeds Night Club
Located along the Mutare–Chimanimani Highway, brings the heat all weekend long with a non-stop mix of Old and New School hits. DJs like Joker and others will be keeping the energy high from tonight through Sunday. Karaoke nights also return, giving patrons a chance to grab the mic and shine under the spotlight.
Club Mandisa
The watering hole situated at the heart of the city turns up the heat with a star-studded cast of vixens from across Zimbabwe who will be dazzling in the newly upgraded VIP section.
In the main auditorium, the likes of Smokes, Nasty, Silbasil, and a powerhouse team of DJs will bring the fire with hit after hit — from tonight all the way through to next Thursday.
The Platinum Leisure Centre
The rehabilitated leisure spot offers an elegant weekend experience with smooth vibes and carefully selected beats by top DJs on Saturday.
Expect a blend of soulful grooves and dancefloor anthems in an upmarket setting that is perfect for those with a taste for style and sound.
