SOUTH Africa-based rhumba musician Mduduzi Tshuma aka Mduduzi Golide has encouraged people not to forsake their roots no matter what, through his latest single Khumbula Ekhaya.

The artiste said the track has given him the zeal to start working on his fifth album as he has created a large fan base because of its success. “Khumbula Ekhaya is a track that has made popular in the South African music industry because of its message which touches all souls. The song is about people who leave their countries or cities in search of greener pastures and when they relocate, they forget about their relatives whom they will have left behind. Instead, they focus on chasing beautiful women, alcohol and expensive clothes.

“When time goes by, they return home with nothing to show for it while some will be sick and needing help from those whom they will have abandoned. People should always know that blood is thicker than water and the importance of not forsaking one’s roots,” said Mduduzi Golide.
