Ronaldo denies claims

Ronaldo has, in fact, angrily denied claims he had signed a new Real Madrid contract.
The odds tumbled on the 27-year-old making a dramatic return to Manchester United when he tweeted:

“All the news about my renewal with Real Madrid are false.”
It suggests Ronaldo is irritated by Madrid president Florentino Perez claiming the Portuguese superstar will be staying at Real.

Perez said: “I’d bet Cristiano will retire at Madrid because it’s the natural thing.” The Portuguese forward, who remains the game’s costliest-ever player following his £80?million transfer from Manchester United, has two years remaining on his deal with Real Madrid and is understood to be holding out for a contract worth more than that of the best paid player in the world, Samuel Eto’o, who earns £330 000-a-week at Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala.

The stand-off between Ronaldo and Real has led to growing interest from wealthy French clubs Monaco and Paris St-Germain, with speculation also linking United with a move for their former player.

Real president Florentino Pérez has insisted that a deal will be agreed with Ronaldo that will result in the 28-year-old “retiring as a Madrid player”, but with constructive negotiations between the two parties yet to begin, Ronaldo flatly denied that any agreement had been struck in a brief message to his 58 million Facebook player, who arrived from Sporting as a 17-year-old in August 2003. — The Mirror-The Telegraph.
