Interestingly, the Mighty Bulls had earlier written to the league, when they wanted to host CAPS at Rufaro, advising the management committee that their home ground did not accommodate more than 2 000 fans.
CAPS United, the ambulance crew, the police and the match officials turned up at Gwanzura but the Mighty Bulls remained at their base.
Referee Robert Mugorosa and his team were at Gwanzura but eventually called off the match after Motor Action failed to turn up while thousands of fans had to return home.
PSL board member for competition, Tawengwa Hara, announced that CAPS United will be awarded the match on a 3-0 scoreline but Motor Action yesterday made attempts to have the decision reversed.
“How can Hara come out as say that the match has been awarded to CAPS United?
“He is board member competitions and was the same person forcing us to play at Gwanzura yet we have our own home ground.
“I am also a board member of the PSL and have not been consulted so Hara cannot be the prosecutor, jury and judge at the same time.
“In all fairness, we believe that the matter should be called for a hearing and then we find the reasons why the other team failed to come to the venue,” said Rosen.
Rosen also wrote a letter challenging PSL chief executive Kenny Ndebele over the decision to set the match at Gwanzura.
