THE five Rotary Clubs of Bulawayo, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Child Care, the National Blood Services Zimbabwe, and other stakeholders, will offer free health services to disadvantaged community members throughout the city.
The free health services will be available from June 21 to 23 at the White City Youth Arena in Mpopoma suburb.
The Charter president of Rotary, Jonathan Mukanya, said the event will be funded by Rotary and its strategic partners.
He said it will offer free medication and health services to the public.
“The event will provide comprehensive free health checks by qualified healthcare professionals. Following the check-up, if needed, patients will receive free prescriptions and medications. The health services will be available from June 21 to 23 at the White City Youth Arena in Mpopoma suburb starting from 8am to 5pm,” said Mukanya.
He explained that the Rotary Clubs are driven by a desire to offer vital healthcare support to members of the community who cannot afford medical assistance.
“Many people cannot afford medical services such as cancer screening, which are difficult to access and most of the time too costly for many people in our communities,” he said.
