A MAN from Nkulumane suburb in Bulawayo is in trouble for allegedly sodomising a boy from the neighbourhood on several occasions.
Charles Mavingire (40) recently appeared before Western Commonage regional magistrate Sibongile Msipa-Marondedze facing an aggravated indecent assault charge.
Mavingire pleaded not guilty to the charge and was remanded in custody to 18 June for the commencement of trial.
The court heard that on a date not known to the prosecutor but during the month of March this year up to 3 April, Mavingire went to the boy’s home, and on most occasions, he found him alone.
It is alleged that he invited him to his home where he allegedly sexually attacked him.
The court heard that whenever he visited the minor at his home and found him alone he would carry out the attack.
Mavingire’s abuse of the boy came to a screeching halt when the minor felt pain when he was answering nature’s call.
When he checked he found out that had sustained sores on his behind.
After that, the minor told his parents, and the matter was reported to the police leading to Mavingire’s arrest.
