Routine maintenance for Odzani Water Treatment Works

MUTARE is set to face depressed water supply when the local authority carries out scheduled routine maintenance at Odzani Water Treatment Works and on the transmission lines this Friday.

 

In a notice to the public, City of Mutare said normal water service is expected to be restored in two days, during which period bowsers will be provide to supplement supply of the precious liquid.

 

“Notice is hereby given that City of Mutare will carry out scheduled routine maintenance at Odzani Water Treatment Works and within the transmission lines on March 21. As a result, there will be reduced water supple in the city.

 

“Normal water supply is expected to be restored after 48 hours. Water bowsers will be provided to complement water supply in the city,” reads the notice.

 

The local authority urged residents to use water sparingly during the maintenance period.
