Royal hosts Golf Day

Royal Harare this morning.
The third edition of the annual tournament has attracted several companies and business executives.
Credsure managing director Lovemore Madavo is confident that the tournament will be a bigger success this year.

“Our event last year coincided with our 45th anniversary and we learnt a lot from there.
“We expect golfers to come and enjoy their day and interact.
“The sport of golf provides a conducive environment where people can socialise.

“This will be the first edition of this year as we look forward to hold another event in Bulawayo,” Madavo said.
The sponsors also promised good prizes for the winners.
“This year’s edition will be different and we have good prizes for the winners.

“There is also going to be spot prizes as we will hold a raffle and we urge people to come with their business cards,” Madavo said.
Meanwhile, Chapman Golf Club is hosting the Bishopslea fundraising golf day this morning.
Bishopslea Primary School will hold the tournament to raise funds for developing several structures at the school. 80 players, who make up 20 teams, had registered by yesterday. The tournament was last held at the same venue, at the same time, last year.
