Runyararo back with third offering

RUNYARARO Boys Gospel Group recently released a nine-track album, Ibwe Remakristu. The album was recorded at Diamond Studios in Harare. The group led by Johannes Manjolo comprises of seven Methodist Church In Zimbabwe members. The members include Cleopas Feruza, Blessed Taruona, Isaac Chikaka, Macleod Maonera, Elvis Muringani, Tawanda Ndlovu and the founder, Johannes Manjolo.

The songs on their new project include Swedera Mweya, Marching over, Ishe Taungana and Hakuna Anoramba among others.

Asked when the group started their involvement in music, Manjolo revealed that they started in 2009 and said that their main aim was to draw other youths to Christ.

“We started singing in 2009 and we just wanted to draw other youths to Christ and show them the way to go. Many youths out there are lost and doing living in sin so for us to won them to Christ, we are preaching to them through our music”, he said.

According to Manjolo people have been receiving their music so well and their music is gaining popularity and fair airplay.

“The response that we are getting is overwhelming. People love and appreciate our music. We are going far and most of our songs are being played in various radio stations”, he said.
